Many people are scared that they will become stuck in years of therapy like an endless Woody Allen movie.
My aim is to empower you to become your own therapist and teach you the skills you will need to do this. As you gain more insight, clarity and self awareness all aspects of your life will seem different, and things will shift accordingly.
This takes different amounts of time for different people, depending on a multitude of factors.
This is why I try and be as flexible as possible about appointments.
Some people are willing and able to commit to a regular weekly session for an initial six to eight sessions, and then recommit for more. Others come fortnightly or monthly for a longer period of time, and some come for one or two appointments only, which is often just what they need to help them through this phase of their lives.
The current cost of a one-hour appointment at Neal’s Yard Therapy Rooms is £70. There is a 24-hour cancellation policy.
I also offer a two-hour intensive session which costs £150. (more details in the Fast Therapy section).
